PLEASE NOTE:

• If capturing and complex editing is needed, the $50/hour rate applies instead.

• Basic video transfer does not provide video cleanup, static removal or image stabilization, merely preservation of your existing materials.  However, cleanup and improvement services are available at our $50/hour video editing rate.  We can assess what needs to and can be done with your materials after performing a basic video transfer.

• At this time we do not transfer Beta, MiniDV tapes with HD content (we do however transfer MiniDV tapes with standard content), copyright-protected, or pornographic material to DVD.

• All prices are subject to available bulk and courtesy discounts.

• You are not charged for blank tapes.

• For tapes that are 15 minutes or shorter, there is a $5 discount off regular pricing per tape.

Videotape Transfer to DVD (includes Basic Menu & Chaptering)

(for Basic VHS / VHS-C / S-VHS / hi8 / Digital8 / PAL / MiniDV (standard resolution only) / DVD-Ram or

file to DVD Transfer)

• If you have between 1 and 10 tapes:  $  17.00 per tape    /    PAL* (European Format) is $ 45 per tape

• If you have between 11 and 20 tapes:  $  16.00 per tape    /    PAL* (European Format) is $ 43 per tape

• If you have between 21 and 30 tapes:  $  15.00 per tape    /    PAL* (European Format) is $ 41 per tape

• If you have between 31 and 50 tapes:  $  14.00 per tape    /    PAL* (European Format) is $ 39 per tape

• If you have between 51 and 100 tapes:  $  13.00 per tape    /    PAL* (European Format) is $ 37 per tape

• If you have 100+ tapes:  $  12.00 per tape    /    PAL* (European Format) is $ 35 per tape

*PAL is a European format tape - for PAL tape format, we only transfer VHS, VHS-C or hi8 to DVD.  PAL Disc conversion to NTSC Disc priced lower.

Film Reel Transfer to DVD (includes Basic Menu & Chaptering)

(3" Reels @ 50 ft, 5" Reels @ 200 ft ea, 7" Reels @ 400 ft ea, etc..)

The following pricing is for 8mm, Super 8, Super 8 w/Sound, 16mm, or 16mm w/Sound Film Reel:

• .20 per foot (additional .10 per foot if sound is included in reel)

• $26.95 Setup Fee

• $21.95 for Master DVD(s)

• When you request an estimate, be sure to indicate how many of what size reels you have.  For example, (5) 3" reels, 1 5" reel, and (12) 7" reels.  3" reels are typically 50 feet each, 5" are typically 200 feet, and 7" are typically 400 feet.

>>>>> How is film reel transfer to DVD accomplished?  Our equipment is custom designed to create Super 8, 8mm and 16mm film reel transfers that offer the breathtaking clarity that can only come from frame by frame scanning in high definition.  Every frame of your reversal footage (no negative) is individually scanned directly to an HD camera using a CMOS sensor with almost 3 million pixels! The gate on our camera is enlarged to give us access to 100% of the film frame and our unique, super bright, cool LED light source provides rich, vibrant colors with zero hot spot and no chance of burning film. Frame by frame scanning means your transfers are 100% flicker free, crystal clear and razor sharp from corner to corner. The sprocketless drive assures no film damage to your priceless footage.  All films are cleaned and prepped before transfer to repair bad splices and to look for potential bad sprocket holes that might mar the quality of the transfer. After transfer, all footage is color and density corrected before going to DVD. Please note that film reel transfer, unlike videocassette transfer, takes 2-3 weeks to process.

Audiotape or LP Transfer to CD (includes Audio Cleaning & Track-splitting)

(for Basic Cassette / LP / Vinyl / 8-track / File to CD)

• If you have 1-5 tapes that need to preserve separation between tracks: $ 30.00 per tape.  If no separation is required: $ 20 per tape

• If you have 6-10 tapes that need to preserve separation between tracks: $  27.00 per tape.  If no separation is required: $ 19 per tape

• If you have 11-20 tapes that need to preserve separation between tracks: $  24.00 per tape.  If no separation is required: $ 18 per tape

• If you have 21-30 tapes that need to preserve separation between tracks: $  21.00 per tape.  If no separation is required: $ 17 per tape

• If you have 31-50 tapes that need to preserve separation between tracks: $  20.00 per tape.  If no separation is required: $ 16 per tape

• If you have 51-100 tapes that need to preserve separation between tracks: $  18.00 per tape.  If no separation is required: $ 15 per tape

• If you have 100+ tapes that need to preserve separation between tracks: $  16.00 per tape.   If no separation is required: $ 14 per tape

*Each includes CD, Case, Case Insert, and Label, Lightscribe print, or handwritten notation.  Thermal or Silkscreening printing may be available depending on quantity & variation.

The hourly rate for all of the following audio/video production services is $50 per hour.  A deposit is usually necessary, equal to one-third up-front.  All services below are subject to available bulk and courtesy discounts:

Other Pricing

• 35mm Slide Conversions (or other formats): depending on your quantity, these range in price from .30 to .60 cents per slide
